■ Using the spinner
You can use the spinner, for example, to enter characters,
scroll through different lists, and browse messages.
To use the spinner, rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise.
The middle selection key is located in the centre of the spinner.
For example, in standby mode you can use the spinner as
follows:
• Press and hold the middle selection key to enter a phone number.
Rotate the spinner to scroll to a digit of the phone number in the character bar
that is shown at the bottom of the display, and press
Select
. Repeat this for
each digit of the phone number.
To call the phone number, press the Call key, or press
Options
and select
Call
.
To save the phone number with a name, press
Options
, select
Save
, select the
letters of the name one by one from the character bar, press
Options
, and
select
Accept
.
